As the title says i would like to know the safest way to install clock work Mod recovery to my Galaxy tab 2 3100. Anyhow will not be installing any CFW as i wont be needing it in the near future. I use the device mainly for reading PDFs. But i hope that sometimes it may come handy. Read that Odin can be used to flash CWM recovery to the device. But there is one alternative way like Rom manager. But i am very comfortable with Odin as i have flashed my device a couple of times with it.
In an attempt to flash CWM recovery, i searched Odin flashable file, but could not find one. It seems Rom manager is the safest method but i am not sure. Can any of you give the link of Odin flashable file for CWMR if thats the safest way ?.
Initially i felt that CWM recovery will replace the stock recovery but since its uses a different button combination, it should not replace IMO. And is it possible to get odin flashable custom ROM for all FWs ? . I need a good and a safe FW which would perform well at the same time it should be free from bugs. Simply said, it should function well like the official FW with good performance. I dont want any extra software in it. It doesnt matter if it comes pre-rooted but just those apps which are necessary alone is enough without the bloatware and crapware which comes with the official FW.
