Hi I want to build a new rig exclusivly for gamming.
My Budget for GPU is approx 10k.
My resolution of game play is 1920x1080 with antilysing on.

Please suggest a GPU whic can diliver this performance up to 2 years from now on most advanced games. If i have to spend a bit more im ready.

Other details:
CPU: AMD phenom ii x4 965 BE (140W)
RAM: 4 GB DDR2
MB: Gigabyte ( GA-MA785GM-US2H )
PSU: Still need to deside 650W or 750W

If in your view i need to change the cpu or any thing important i should know please tell i am open for all type of suggestions.

Thanx a lot

XFX 4870 @ 9.5k will serve the purpose well, if u dont want DX11. ATI 5770 can be get for 11.5k and the performance is similar to 4870.

Dude, if you are thinking for two years, then get the ati 5xxx series card.
THe one in your budget is 5770 which is abt 11.5K. But I would highly recommend 5850 (Which is about ~17K right now) , coz this card will last you longer once the DX 11 games show up. And make sure you buy a crossfire enabled motherboard so that you can crossfire later.

Have u bought any PC part yet or this is ur current config?

no i hvnt bought it yet.
but i do own a pc with intel E7500 2.93ghz, 4 GB ram, GPU nvidia gt 9500 1 GB.

I am thinking of upgrading it
i can still stick with this config and only upgrade GPU if it will give better performance

What do you suggest

hey wait friend...u can buy nvidia's dx11 card
try to use onboard now

wat is ur suggestion it mate

Fermi is going to be big like core i5 , i7

It would be wise to wait till january when they'll release and stabilize the dx11 market

P.S. : I am not an Nvidia fanboy nor ATI fanboy.

Coz the direct x 11 card prices will drop when nvidia releases theirs.

ok for now ill stik with my gt 9500.

so for now i can overclock it

i am new to this, does any body has any idea wat things i should keep in mind

Then you will have to wait for at least a year before real price war shows up. In the beginning, both ati and nvidia will be expensive.
