hey folks,

today my cpu fan on my intel DG33FB mobo with E6550 cpu gave up am currently on my notebook but i want an advise, the engineer is offering this,HPH-9525EA fan as a replacement as my intel cpu fan is out of waranty as my system is 4 years old. Whwt i wanna know is, is this fan worth buying?? is it effective and will i be able to use artic nx2 with it.

Chk the graph. The Evercool HPH-9525EA only perrforms slightly better than the stock intel cooler.

If he is giving it for free then fine. But if he is charging u for it then how much is he asking for.

The CM Hyper TX3 is a very nice budget CPU cooler for Rs.1100-1200 and performs very well for that price. So if u r looking to O.C and if the engineer is charging u say Rs.600+ for that cooler then u can opt to go for the CM Hyper TX3 instead.
