I don't know whose fault that was, the OP's for not giving a more descriptive thread title, or the other dude's, for not noticing which subforum this was posted it, or mine , for posting offtopic and preachy messages without helping anyone(I would if i knew anything about hackintoshes :ashamed:)

I almost made the same mistake myself :P

what more description do u want?

most people find threads through the new posts feature. the subforum the thread is in might not be readily apparent to most. Apart from the ideneb mention, mac OS does not figure anywhere

EDIT: seems you've edited your first post. A more prominent position would be better still :)

Welcome to the world of Hackintosh.

If you have read up even a bit about it, you should know there are no readymade "Drivers" that one can search for. You'll haeve to head to the InsanelyMac Forum and search for the kexts (Kernel Extensions, essentially drivers), download, install them manually, and mind you, this is hit and miss, they might work, or they might not work.

I find it slightly fascinating that the motherboard you mentioned does not exist. Please do, double check, either its an Asus motherboard with a different model number, or an Asrock board with the model number you specified.

The Asrock website states your Onboard Network adapter is a Realtek PHY RTL8201CL and your Sound Codec is a Realtek ALC888, so knowing that, you should scourge though InsanelyMac and try to find the matching kexts.

I've rarely had so many issues with my old Hackintosh installs, as the hardware was pretty generic, so maybe the OSX86 veterans here can guide you a bit further.
