Pls suggest a good Wifi router and a Card scanner.

Hello all,

I am back again with my queries!

1) Wifi router with good range: (Budget 3k?)

Here is the problem, we had bot 2 WRT54G's one for my dads office, the other for our residence, and now I seem to have misplaced the office router, and my dad badly needs one, the WRT54G was more than enough for the office.

So routers in similar category would do just fine, but I would like you guys to suggest ones with good range ( some buffalo one's) then I can use that one for my house, cause my PS3 is at the other corner of the house and the signal is weak.

2) Visiting card scanner: ( No idea)

I have absolutely no idea about this, my dad has been wanting this for ages, but since I have no knowledge I told him to keep, so all you guys with card scanners pls suggest. My dad has a hell load of cards which he would like to upload onto his laptop and he likes to keep all of em, so pls suggest a sturdy model.

for wireless router go for buffalo G125 (~2.1K), but if ur too concern with the long range then i would suggest to go for HP-g54 (~3.6k) which is High Power model model of buffalo.

In my experience the range of HP-G54 is just amazing ...n Both are wireless G model.

U can go for wireless n based but currently IMO n experience they have too many issues n higher price.

No idea abt visitng card scanner - never used one though seen motoroker phone with this utility .....know many people who initially liked the idea but in the end switched to visiting card folder....just my 2 cents
