PC Peripherals Pls suggest a VFM Printer+Scanner for Home/Home-Office use...

Wish you a happy new year 2012!

I am planning to buy a descent printer+scanner for home use. I would take avg. 100 prints a month and not more than that. I would like to have a scanner in the same device so that it is saves space and wires. I will be using this for the next 5 years at least - so I need a solid machine which will last.

I am not so much interested in fax and copy but if the MFD doesn't come without them, I can buy it anyway.

I am looking for a laser printer (greyscale) and not a inkjet. Had enough bad experiences with inkjet.

If, truth be honest, get separate devices, maintenance and other issues will be less, plus speed will be more.

If buying printer alone, which is a good VFM one?

100 prints a Month - Laser Printer may not prove VFM?

Laser toner may give problem if not use as frequent as inkjet.

There is one Epson Stylus - TX121 Printer at Rs. 2999/-
