Graphic Cards Pls suggest cooler for passive 7600GS

I am unfortunate to have this graphics card based upon some ridiculous concept of "passive cooling." It is an XFX model 7600GS and it really runs hot. When it touches temps of 76+, I start to get artifacts on the screen. They go away when the card cools but its getting a bit silly now.

Could you kindly suggest a nice fansink combo for this card? Or if there's a better cooling solution, speak your mind.

If you are looking for a cheap solution thats easily available in India, then try a slot cooler like the Antec V-Cool or Vantec Spectrum. If it uses passive cooling then It must have a very good Heat Sink and heatpipe system already. What you need to do is blow some air on to it. V-Cool or Spectrum should fit the bill and they are both priced at around 1k. No use spending a premium on a third party HSF for 7600GS.

^^ Thanks. Yeah it has a pretty good heatsink and pipe inside it just needs air. My cabinet is open and when I turn the ceiling fan on full, it's enough to keep the temps down really low (from 62 to 55, idle. just the ceiling fan, haha)

Whew. I just ripped the HSF from my 5900XT and attached it to the 7600GS. MUCH BETTER. idles in the low 40s (down from 62) and maxes in low 60s (80s earlier). perrrfect!! Passive cooling is a joke. Overclocks awesome and stays stable.

Mods, you can go ahead and close this thread. Thanks again everybody!! :hap2:
