Hello all,
I have a wired modem now connected to my desktop. I want to make my internet connection Wifi for a laptop also. I may not use both the computers same time. The laptop has bluetooth. What device do I need to buy for the setup? a Bluetooth Wifi adapter? or a Wifi router?

When it comes to wifi there are two types of wifi routers. One with adsl + wireless router and the other with wireless router feature alone. Since you say that you already have an adsl modem the later one suffices. But if you go in for the 2nd one in case of any issues either with your modem or with a wireless router you will have to troubleshoot both to identify the cause of the issue.

The 1st one is expensive ,features inbuilt modem and so its space saving . So the config is also simple. The difference between the 1st one and the 2nd one may be 1.5 to 2k. Now you have to decide.
