Plz suggest a good MKV cutter

hello friends,

I have some movies in MKV format, but i dont find a proper editor to extract parts of them. Plz suggest a good fault tolerant mkv cutter. Is there any freeware available ?. The output file should be a direct MKV file (direct stream copy) and not encoding to a different file format... PLz suggest guys...

I tried avidemux mate, but i dont know how to do it. Or is it like my mkv file which has a file format inside its container isnt compatible with this app ?. PLease guide me with step by step instructions mate. thanx in advance...

But this is a transcoding application which alters the video quality and the resultant video's file size also will be big. I want a raw cutter which can cut the video files without any conversion....

Please suggest..
