My RIG is Q6600 2.4 Ghz (GO)
Gigabyte EP45T-UD3LR
MSI 5770 Hawk
Antec 900
CM Extreme Power Duo 600W.
present ram CORSAIR XMS3 2X2Gb 1600 9-9-9-9-24.
Win 7 -64 bit.

I want to change my ram , should i ?
Is my ram OK ?
Which ram can i Upgrade to for Better proformance ??

why do you want to upgrade your ram ?

i think 4gb is enough at the moment unless you need to do some high end work

instead save money now and then upgrade your motherboard and processor later
 
Yes mate, your current ram is too good. What are you planning to do with more ram. Better save your money and upgrade in future. Wait for the new chipsets from intel. :)
 
4gb xms3 ram should be

upgrade it only if you are falling short of it

best thing to do will be to save your money for a future upgrade

the thing was that i was wondering How much does the Latency matter in the speed of the ram ? (9-9-9-9-24) and the 7-7-7-7 ones :S
