PMP Suggestions within 8k max

Hey peeps, which player would be the best bet within this budget?? need to gift this. I have already fallen for the red 8gig nano. what would be your suggestions? n are the vids/pics in it clearly viewable? what are the pros/cons with da player?? i know about itunes+no fm for one, any others?

also have the zen 16gig and cowon d2 4gig in mind. what say you guys?

also, which sites offer the best offers on these players?
 
^^yea its gud...chic/pixel are raving about it.i find it gr8 too, but no not the meizu.wud have considered the meizu if i had got fer myself.

oops!! guys...one more thing, puhlease suggest me sumthin that wud sweep a gal off her feet
 
even the new i pod nano 3g is not bad...its really sleek ,sexy good SQ when paired with a good earphone ..and yeah the video playback is really good,crystal clear on da bright screen !!

and da battery life is also not bad ..20-21 hrs only music ..

and with video it lasts around 15-18 hrs..

only video is a bit low around 5-6 hrs max...with medium brightness..

overall the new 3rd gen . Nano is really worth the money..

and da looks and the interface are killing..
 
the creative zen. its a good nano killer esp with that format compatibility support :ohyeah:

the 8Gb one is around 200$ i think.
 
@faheem....i find it gr8 too, but then there's no fm n then there's the obnoxious itunes too.i can leave out the fm part, but itunes simply suks

yeah i knw ..even when i first bought it ...i was pissed of wid i tunes..for da fisrt few days..but once u figure it out ..and get used to it..its easy...and pretty fast ..just manage the music manually and dont sync the ipod with da i tunes..thats it ...everything's perfect..

if u still dont like it..there are alternatives to i tunes..

and by da way da "cover flow : feature in da new nano looks sexy...
 
Whose this for a chick/guy? Is the user into tech and stuff, will he make use of the extras the Cowon has to offer?

If not, the Nano hands down! Nothing is sexier, sleeker and it has pretty damn good AQ! :)

I like the looks of iAudio U5. Though it doesnt have ogg/flac support.
 
i vote for the zen esp if u want PMP types n not only an MP3 player. the zen 16Gb for 200$ cant be beat for the capacity/price. + the screen on it is much bigger than the nanos. its as big as that on the ipod classic :D

a frnd has one n i liked it. very compact n light.

^ sadly not available here (actually not sure, there is a meizu distri in Surat though). In terms of pinch $100 or ~4k for 4gb version bought from newegg.
