Google Wants 2.25 Percent of Every iPhone Sale
Recently there were many patent wars between Motorola and Apple on the grounds of Motorola's patent infringements by Apple . Now with Google buying Motorola , it plans to take advantage of Motorola's patents , by demanding 2.25% of sticker price of each iPhone . Motorola had asked for a royalty of 2.25 per cent from Apple , Google continues to demand same , according to a letter sent to IEEE by Google . Apple has argued that Motorola's demands are excessive.

Google To Launch Its Own Cloud Storage Service
With Apple , Microsoft and Dropbox's cloud storage services becoming popular , Google is planning to enter the competition by launching its own cloud storage service called Google Drive according to Wall Street Journal . The service will let users storage their data on cloud and let them view it anywhere through the internet using their smartphones , laptops or tablets . The service will also integrate will Gmail letting users send e-mail with links of files on cloud . According to the news, Drive will be free for most users except those who want to store large amount of files.

Google Chrome Version 17 Released With Page Pre-rendering
Google Chrome's version 17 was released today which brings speed and security improvements including page pre rendering feature . This feature is evolved form of auto-complete which guesses the site which one is likely to visit while typing the address in 'omnibox' ( address & search bar ) , and pre renders the page in background , resulting in much faster page loads - sometimes instantly as enter is pressed . It also has added security features , the browser now compares files being downloaded against a whitelist and if it doesn't match , Chrome checks Google if the download is likely to malicious .

iBerry to Launch First Tablet Running Android ICS In India
iBerry, a Hong Kong based electronics manufacturer is set to launch the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich based tablet in India . Many manufacturers will be launching ICS based tablets and updating their devices to ICS later , but it could take a few months . However , iBerry plans to bring tablet running Android ICS to India in March . The tablet is named Auxus AX02 and will be a 7" tablet . According to iBerry site it will have a 7" capacitive screen , 1GB RAM and probably single core cpu ( Mentioned on site as " three cores ie CPU + GPU + VPU " ) . The price is not mentioned but it can be expected to be around Rs .10-15k .

Flipkart Acquires Letsbuy.com
Flipkart , the largest e-commerce retailer of books and electronic products has acquired letsbuy.com , the second largest online retailer and its rival . The news was acknowledged by flipkart , according to sources the deal was done for $20-25 million . Flipkart said the deal involved combination of cash and equity but did not disclose the exact amount . Flipkart said that letsbuy which has 350 employees, will continue to operate independently under current management .
