Opera Releases Mini 7 For Android
Opera Software has launched Opera Mini 7 for Android , which is the final version of the browser now available to Android devices . It brings improved Speed Dial feature which now lets you add unlimited speed dials . It also has Opera "Turbo" feature similar to one found in other versions of Opera browser , which receives compressed data upto 90% while browsing , enabling faster loading of web pages and saving of data usage charges . It also has WebGL support added and OpenGLES hardware acceleration . It can be downloaded from Play Store or m.opera.com .

Amazon To Release Three New Kindle Fire Tablets
Amazon will be launching three new models of Kindle Fire Tablets , according to report from China Economic News Service . The report claims that the company plans to roll out three new models, low-end 7†model (resolution of 1024x600), medium- to high-end 7†model (1280x800), and high-end 8.9†(1920x1200). Amazon will be working with Taiwanese suppliers to cut production costs . Kindle fire was assembled by Quanta , which will now be responsible for assembly of 7" 1280x800 model , while Hon Hai will handle the assembly of 1024x600 model .

Evernote , which is one of the most popular note-taking app For Android is updated to version 3.6 , which includes now voice recognition along with other improvements such as larger larger thumbnails in the note list and the ability to turn off auto-titling via the app settings. The voice transcription service requires Android 4.0 and Internet access to function . Evernote is available for free on Google Play Store and lets you notes, capture photos, create to-do lists, record voice reminders .

HTC has asked customers using HTCSense.com to sync their contacts , messages etc need to backup their as it will be wiped from the site. Software update brings battery boost for Nokia Lumia 800
Nokia has announced that Lumia 800 will be getting a software update (v. 1600.2487.8107.12070) which will bring several improvements in battery life and power management . It will also bring improvement to bass in audio and now the soft keys will illuminate at all brightness level settings . The update will be made available in four batches beginning today (28 March) for the first batch. Subsequent phased updates will be on 4, 11 and 18 April.
