Samsung has announced another addition to the Galaxy S lineup after the Galaxy S Plus , called Galaxy S advance i9070 . The information about this was leaked , just after few hours of which Samsung acknowledged about its existence . The price is not yet revealed .The device seems to be upgraded version of Galaxy S plus with dual core processor and slightly upgraded specs . The full specifications for the device are : -

FBI to Gather Intelligence From Social Networking Sites
American intelligence agency FBI is developing software that will search through social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter and gather intelligence which will let it predict upcoming threats and find suspects of crimes . The company has asked software companies to create such software which can effectively scan the websites for words phrases and other suspected behavior .It will be able to translate suspicious posts from other languages to find suspicious people .

According to a latest article published in The New York Times , Barnes & Noble is to launch a new Nook e-reading device this spring . The news was contained in a long article about Barnes & Noble taking on Amazon , which mentioned of engineers "putting the final touches on their [Barnes & Noble's] fifth e-reading device, a product that executives said would be released sometime this spring." No further information about the e-reader was given .

Symantec claims that upto 5 million devices could be victim of a malware that installs as a part of about 13 apps that are available from the Android market . These apps have been carrying malicious code called Android.Counterclank , which steals information and runs ads against owner's will . Symantec calls it the biggest Android malware outbreak till date . The apps are distributed by iApps7, Ogre Games and redmicapps . The titles are :

Smartphones are 'Exposing Children To Smut '
London : a latest study has shown that children aged from 8 to 15 are increasing using their smartphones to surf violent or pornographic websites . The poll showed almost half of the surveyed chilren owned smartphones ,most of which were bought by their parents , and many of these children even viewed illicit content on their mobiles . Survey also found that use of social networking sites on mobile increased eightfold in past 3 years to 38% , at the same time the number of kids watching video clips on their mobile has doubled .Main reason of this being their parents having less tech skills , which makes them unable to keep track of children.

Nokia Belle Update For Symbian Anna Devices to be available from 8th February
Nokia had announced that its symbian anna devices N8, E7, E6, X7, C6-01, C7 and Oro will be getting update to Symbian Belle in February . This was confirmed by an ad on nokia vietnam website . Nokia has also revealed via Twitter that N8 , C7 and other devices are shipping with belle preinstalled in some regions .

Sony has launched new Cybershot TX200v Camera which provides underwater shooting capability without compromising with optics or looks .The camera has a glass plate on its front and features a 18.2MP Exmor R CMOS sensor , 3.3" OLED touch screen , improved autofocus system, 5x optical zoom lens . In video mode , it is capable of recording 1080i . The Camera is expected to be available in march and priced around 500$ .
Sony also announced two mare cameras , DSC-WX70 and DSC-WX50, the first being 3 inch touch screeen camera with 5x optical zoom , 1080i video , and 16MP Exmor R CMOS sensor , the latter one being non touch screen version of same , the prices will be 230$ and 200$ respectively .
