DC Test adapter has been withdrawn from the sale. The adapter is failing to regulate voltage.

Make sure you know what an rj45 splitter actually does. They aren't switches that can multiply ethernet connections. Most splitters work by splitting 4 pairs of twisted pairs into 2 pairs, so you get 100mbit at best. They are also non standards compliant, so you need splitters on both ends, one working as a splitter and the other as a combiner.

The most common use case is transmitting 2 different ethernet connections over 1 gbit+ ethernet cable, but both get degraded to 100mbps-.

You can not parallel ethernet like electricity (together).

Apologies for off topic post.

TIL, I thought it’ll be 500mb split on 1gb throughput. Everyday you learn something.

Well my use case is splitting the connection after the modem so that the Splitter gives out one wire to one router and other wire to the other router.

The c80 i have has great coverage and sig Al quliaty but doesn't have a usb port so it will be used for all streaming, mobiles, tablets, laptops etc.

The C7 router has usb ports so I wish to attach a usb drive with all my flac music on it so that it's discoverable over the network to be streamed to my chromecast audio and then to my speakers using fosi amp.

Hope Splitter would help in setting up separate networks
