arre... components are completely different... No picture tube in this one... The panel is 24"WS AU Optronics P-MVA (M240UW01 V0).. Not a bad one.. couple it with the stated price its pretty good... :bleh:

Buying a monitor from KMD? I think it's better to buy in India itself, despite of higher cost. Warranty will be a problem unless KMD agrees to fully test it in USA itself, before shipping to India.

@Vandal: What makes you think the LG 246WP is a native 8-bit MVA? Link to specs? The LG page says viewing angle 178/178 but TN panels nowadays can show this number instead of 160/160 according to the AnandTech LCD thread.

Its P-MVA,the same panel was used in benq FP241.

I dont think u can get a 226BW for 12k, and of the lot, its the best one.

Ya, I knew about S and A thing. I had a talk with Supra over phone and he confirmed now there is no such thing.

S - made by samsung (better than A)

A - made by AU Optronics

Now there is no variant, all are made by samsung.
