port forwarding in beetel 220bx airtel modem???

Try entering gateway address of router in browser and then try to configure it. Atleast worked with my smc adsl baricader
Most of the modem/routers supplied by Airtel I've used dont support port forwarding.
I'm not sure of this model though.Can you post a few screenshots of the modem/router web configuration page?
The router configuration page for airtel provided modem/router can be found at 192.168.1.1.You could either enter this in your browser address bar or if you are comfortable with CLI then telnet to 192.168.1.1 will yield the same result.

for port forwarding, it isn't 192.168.1.1, but
192.168.1.1/main.html, admin is username and password is password.
Under NAT, you have the DMZ and port triggering sections.
i was confused for a little while too. But some Airtel users on other forums helped me out. good stuff.
