I've got a MT882 modem which has the same Interface as the Dlink one, I tried prt forwarding but it didn't work at all.
Please Help, I'm using uTorrent.

S**t I did something and now I'm getting reduced speeds,

Then I reset modem settings and somehow I remembered some settings so it works for now.

I had 2mbps Night unlimited

Now I'm getting 512mbps speed??

Things are really weird now I'm getting full 2mbps speed from nVidia site but other regular sites are giving me speeds of 512mbps even utorrent got slower???

I have the same modem , just enabled uPnP in both the router and utorrent and its working fine , u dont need to manually forward ports

also whats you DSL speed at the status page ?

and post a speedtest.net result

Thanks a lot I enabled UPnP now it uTorrent is showing the green icon, i.e, port is forwarded.

This is what I'm seeing in the status page DSL Speed: 262/2043kbps.

speedtest.net is showing Download : 404kbps Upload : 160kbps.

Earlier It used to show Download : 1900kbps Upload : 254kbps.

Common people I'm suffering a lot here speeds aren't picking up stuck with a lot of movies at 70-60% since tomorrow??

I think I need to change my MTU value which currently is set to 1500.

So what MTU value do you have manu1991's?

I'm getting 1mbps speeds now but still not 2mbps??

If only somebody can guide me with the help of screen shots. I've searched everywhere, mtnl[mum, delhi, india etc.],india bradband but still no breakthrough.

Except from manu1991's suggestion to enable Upnp[ getting full speeds for my torrents].

I'm using MTNL 2mbps Night unlimited on MT882 Modem.

I use 1492 as my MTU value , i guess thats what u have to use for PPPoE , although i dont think MTU has any corelation with download speeds

also your sync speed seems to be changed , call up 1504 and ask them to rectify the problem

I'd changed MTU value it to 1492[4:30am] and I'm getting the best speeds but still not as high as I used to get so I'll call MTNL.
Thanks though for your help.:)
