I'll get straight to the point. I'm familiar with port forwarding n didn't have any problem with it when i was using just MT882 modem. Now i've added Dir-300 router, followed port forwarding instructions from different sites but still can't get it to work properly. Here's wat i've done:
1. Modem IP is 192.168.1.1
2. Router IP is 192.168.0.1
3. My PC's IP is 192.168.0.5
4. Port forwarded following instructions from portforward.com for the Dir-300.
uTorrent network connection turns green sometimes but not all the time. Even when it turns green, dwlding doesn't start instantly (using private trackers with good seed). No such problem when i was using only the modem.
BTW is port forward settings in the modem still relevant, now that i've added the router?

OS - Windows 7 64bit
uTorrent allowed through firewall, both for public/private networks.
