PC Peripherals Possible to replace the cable of a wired mouse ?

For anyone reading this, is it possible to replace the cable of wired mouse if mouse is working fine but cable has deteriorated?

Yes pretty easy! Get gold of a mouse not in use or any old mouse, cut its cable and solder/attach using tapes to the new.

depends on where the deterioration is!
Also, needs to take into account the correct continuity of the different wires inside the cable!

is the wires inside cable same in both gaming and office mouse? we just need to match the colour and solder it? How about a usb cable instead of a mouse cable?

Yes but before Soldering directly try roughly if it work to be sure.
