he outside locations are really cr4p .. even dos games have better gfx ... but few close combat maps look gud ... the weapons are mostly the same as COD4 and COD5 (since its based on the same engine) ...although i played most of the game with just a pistol, dealing in headshots only . I played this game because my net was not working and i didn't have anything else to do ... a few missions like the train and the hotel casino royale felt dated ... the cover and duck system was pathetic... and the fist fights can be agonizingly painful coz u have to hover ur cursor over to a circle and click to register a punch (really hated this concept )...other than that ... well .. its a movie based game ... my expectations were low ... so no heartbreaks .
Played this on my video con tv (which is bigger than my 19" lcd) using a wireless keyboard and mouse.
Gamers should stick with crt, or any household tv. The difference between the colors, contrasts, visibility in dark games like Prey is huge as compared to and lcd. Anyone with a TV to spare should seriously trying gaming on that rather than on lcd.
I have Fraps load at startup. Very handy for taking screenshots and recording videos.
Also adds a timestamp to the filename so you can tell when it was captured.
