puzzle mod for episode 2. you have no weapons but there is a lot of violence in it anyway. plus some pretty neat puzzles to solve. not as charming as portal but not bad for a project that came into being as the creator was learning the hammer editor. it's only 80mb and worth trying out imo. more info about it here - http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2009/07/20/science-in-action-research-development/
The game looks good till now ... hope the freshness lasts longer .. the driving physics engine is gud enough ... he performance is gud as well ... running at 1680x1050 with 4x AA and all settings high give me 45 FPS and above ... few screens :
The start was truly amazing, the opening cinematic was epic! .. the graphics are really light on system and maybe thats y its multi might become popular ... i've been a fan of Raven's FPS engine right from the days of soldier of fortune .. so the gameplay was bound to be gud for me ... as techster rightly said u can't help comparing it with COD series ... and there was one more game i remember with the name "Ubersoldier" made on quite similar lines.. few screens
the game has stalker style inter zone missions and everytime you come back to a zone a new type of enemy is waiting for you ... so its basically a mix of stalker and call of duty with the classic sci-fi elements of the wolfenstein franchise .. the 4 powers are extra damage, shield, veil, and slomo .. the amazing thing is that all can be used together .. but that wont last long coz the medallion's battery drains pretty fast .. although the recharge puddles are abundant ... few more screens:
Played only first 2 chapters and lots of action and quite fast-paced game, but I get the feeling that I'll be fighting the same kind of enemies for the entire game.
^he means batman arkham asylum has leaked and you can now pirate it.
came across a funny bug in tf2 today... playing hoodoo, as the blue team. the doors to the spawn point didn't open and the cart started moving by itself . the red team couldn't stop it from moving, and we obviously couldn't even get out of spawn. it was pretty hilarious.
