Post your in-game screenshots & gameplay videos

Tried the Prey demo... Game is definately fun but not o great gfx wise... Have that cartoony feeling to it... I dont know or maybe its just me but i never got the hang of DIII engine... Otherwise peeps should give it a try... Demo seems to be promising... Havent tried the multiplayer mode as of yet... Will report back on that later ...
 
prey demo doesn't look that good. i don't understand why all d3 engine games have to look like d3 (other than ET:QW of course but that's heavily modified). anyone remember q3 engine games like JK2 and Heavy Metal : FAKK2? they looked so different from Quake 3.

what really impressed me about Prey is the multiplayer though. I haven't played against anyone but you can run on ceilings, leave your body to get into some ethereal form, have alternate firing for weapons and the maps look interesting.
 
game is great & looks far from cartoony. switch's x1900xt is prolly gone bad.

they cant change much now ashr cause the engine is still new. give it sometime & i am sure u will see more games like jk2 etc.

btw, jk2 = still the best sp fps game on pc ever made :)
 
^^Yeah the game is no way cartoony but could definitely do with higher resolution textures. D3 engine can be made to look different. Just look at the initial bar and toilet scene. Doesn't look like D3 at all. I know I might get flamed for this but Prey seemed to look better on a 6800 ultra at my office than how it looked on my x1900 at home. Sort of strange :S.

Strangely enuf as I stated elsewhere I get more bugs with the NV GL 2.0 implementation as compared to the ATI GL 2.0 implementation.
 
Hope there is some outdoor gameplay too insted of the same indoor setting like doom, atleast in the full version of the game, though i doubt whether the doom engine will be able to process the outdoor landscape as effectively as the HL or Far Cry engine

Nooooo ! Don't even think doing that. It's prolly the worst game ever. Uninstalled it 2-3 campaigns later.

Won't affect performance much. I still get around 70-80 fps 4aa/8af occasionally dropping in firefights or where lots of physics is involved but that has nothing to do with the mod. Make sure you have 1GB of ram though.
