Thats a really good deal, I so badly wanted a geforce 3 at that time. Got a ti 4200 finally in Aug 2002 for 120 $, unfortunately was/is yet lying around in States at my cousin's place who since 3 years will be coming down in a "months" time ;)
 
1) Sis onboard 6836 or smthng i dun remember
2) Geforce4 on board ( C18G400 )
3) HIS 9800 pro ICEQ 128 MB
4) Gigabyte 6600 GT PCIExpress ( Never used it :@ )
5) Gigabyte 6600 GT AGP :cool2:
 
Intel 810 onboard ( still running back at home )
Powercolor Radeon 9600Pro ( short stint, sold it )
XFX 6800GT AGP - current setup.
 
Aces :The card was a gift from my Uncle.Every year he plans to come here (hasn't been here since '02) and is always stuck in some project or the other(research work).Every year since then I so wished he would make another trip,LOL.(in '03 I wanted a 9500-pro,in '04 a 5900XT... :rofl: ,Now ofcourse I want a 6800.)
This time round when he comes in Nov.(its final) I'll be in the states! :ashamed:

Fudo is atleast 6 months away in volumes. I'm waiting for the same as well. It seems the paper launch is in august. So don't expect volumes to be available before holidays!

Broar plz dont go offtopic, If u need info just start another thread for it. Avoid crossposting. Also u might also realise that your calling for comparisons between the nex gen from Ati and nvidia might lead to another gpu war. One debate has just begun to cool down, dont start another one ;)

nah man.
I got my 9800XT a week before its official release. Aparantly if you know store managers, they receive stocks couple of weeks early itself. They are told not to put them on shelf before perticular date but if you have your contacts you get the product.
The 9800XT i got was engineering sample. My friend had some connections and he got hold of Sapphire Engineering sample. The advantage that it gave me was insane overclocking ability.
Engineering samples of GFX are known to overclock better for some reason.

There are other ways too but i can speak here as its not perfectly legal ;)
