I posted some prices using the price list form thingy.... but after 3-4 days I see the prices still aren't there....... Wat r we supposed to provide reciepts and stuff to like verify purchasing them or wat??? :bleh:
Why aren't the prices I posted shown???

Why the sarcasm? Some of us are busy at some point of time, some of us have exams (and yes that "some of us" implies me - since i'm the one mostly adding the prices), so no need to get all up and jumping. This is a forum, where all work is voluntary and it is NOT a job where we get paid, so dont understand what your problem is ? :@

Do you expect us to stand up and applaud everytime you contribute 2-3 prices?? Well let me know, will make you a Certificate as well !

added a category for mp3 players and added the ipod prices.. suggestions for other categories welcome
 
Please note that we are flooded everyday with loads of price alerts, posting/updating them is kind of a time consuming job.
We are doing our best to update the list.
Incase this happens to you, kindly submit again after 2-3 days if not updated.

Hmmmm, going against the tide, but Eddy - I felt you were unfairly harsh in your reply. I know vandal has been very rude earlier, but he has been answered appropriately in those threads. And imho, his posts recently have been much better. At the very least, he apologises once his mistake has been pointed out.

Yes, his post in this thread was sarcastic, but he did add a smiley after it. In all the forums I visit ( I know that'll be a lot less than you ), a smiley means the poster is joking. So, I felt your reply was too nasty. You might have gotten angry after reading his post, but a straight-forward reply, maybe like the one XT has posted, woulld have been appropriate. Thats what is expected from a senior member like you. At least thats what I feel.

If you think this is none of my business, then sorry. Just posted this cause I felt like it.

^ Agreed , I lost my cool. Sorry about that Vandal. Post deleted :) Zhops, dont misunderstand me, i've been very patient with vandal, and this wasnt a personal attack against him.

Just got off exams, and as such didnt realise there is a lot of stuff piled up :P . Each one of us in the staff takes interest in a certain aspect of the site - adding prices was mostly left up to me. As you know from my siggie i've been busy for a bit, never got the time to add prices Now that i'm back, just starting to have a look at it - like I said earlier, we all do this voluntarily, so to think that we are ignoring things is not right. We may take time, but we do finally get things done.

I'm sure if you just got off exams, and you were finally trying to unwind with the holidays only to return to your favourite forums to find someone accusing you of literally shirking off duties, you'd feel annoyed as well :)
 
aah well, all's well that ends well. :P

At least you were gracious enough :) Makes me feel nice to be part of a forum like this.... keep it up :D :hap2:
