'Power Saver' equipment

Hi,

I have heard lot about 'power saver' equipment, which, what I have read, reduces 20-30% of electricity bill by controlling voltage & spikes.

I need to know if anyone is using this kind of equipment & also where I can get it in Delhi/Noida.

There are many sellers on net & there does not seem to be any particular brand of this kind product.
So, if anybody know the trusted manufacturer/ seller of such product, please do let me know.

With days getting hotter & humid, and consequent increase in A/C use, such equipment will help to reduce electricity bill, at least to an extent

I'm getting a feeling of deja vu reading this. Maybe some time back there was a thread here on TE regarding such power saver things that you plug into a socket to the mains or something like that. I think some people on TE are using it.

Edit: is it something like shown in link but with indian plug?

I did try to search for any relevent thread on TE, before posting it as new topic, but could not find any such topic.
There are several such equipment on sale on ebay and elsewhere which are unbranded.
I want to know from any one who is using it if they can tell the utility of such equipment & also if they can recommend any seller/ manufacturer who delivers in Delhi/Noida.

OP, if it was true than govt. it self started to distribute such equipment via Cheap Grain Store, without facing anger in load-shading area from suffering people.
