PC Peripherals Power supply faulty??

Asky

Adept
hey guys........have a problem.
k i have the Powersafe 500W PSU which i am using with the rig in my sig.
a few weeks bak i bought the Hitachi 250Gb SATA II drive.
k now i have 3 HDDs and 1 LG 4163B.
if i connect all of them together the computer refuses to boot[yes i have checked the master slave connections they r correct]
i have to keep swapping with the molex connectors...i.e try diff connectors to start the pc.[this only happens when i connect all the drives ..1 less and pc boots fine].
even if the pc does boot up it gives me a BSOD after a few hrs.
a 500W PSU shud be ablke to handle the hardware i have rite?
so is my PSU faulty or is there something else at fault?
pls let me know

also guys wanted to ask you:-
am buying a new photo printer ...have to choose between

wht i wanna know is whose after sales service is good and which cartridges r cheaper?
thnx a lot guys.

It shouldn't be the psu 's problem. My other computer has 2x optical drives and 3 hard drives on a power supply from 2001.Does the 250GB say anything about needing more power?

What does the BSOD say?It could be a hardware problem and not one to do with your psu.

Choose Cannon, its usual better than Epson and Cannon is easier to refill if you want to save money.

I dont think its power supply problem. In SATA there is no master slave thing so even thats not a problem. Only thing is that the mobo dosent support SATA II, so dont run the hdd in SATA II mode, run it in SATA I. This might be the problem.
