ok so a couple of days ago thanx to reliance there was a power surge/fluctuation only in my wing of the building :) and obviously my comp had to get fried :)

PSU: i presume is fried cuz the back led doesnt come on, fan doesnt move either.
Mobo: took the intel G33 to redington(lamington rd) and they said since the pcb is burnt no replacement. awesome!

now i bought a gigabyte G31 and FSP 500w as replacements and the comp still wont boot! the cpu/psu fans come on for 1 second and thats it, no sounds, no boot.

CPU: dont temme my E6750 is fried as well, how do i find out? (no friends have a compatible mobo) will intel replace it?? cuz i think its fried too (there are no burn marks)
RAM, GFX, HDD: could these be affected too???
what should I do next? any1 in bandra west with a 775 mobo willing to help?

how thatz really really bad news.. this news shocks me more than TOI headlines... I request if you can take your PC and components to friends house and check each and every components to be more sure before investing for new one.

get a belkin original surge protector first....check cpu on other mobo also confirm if intel accepts fried cpu as even i had fried 1 cpu :( after changing some bad capacitors of my mobo (due to high vcore surge) they refused to RMA it :@
