Hi All,

After researching a bit, I have zeroed down to the build mentioned below. Mainly used for gaming on high resolution. Min 22 inch monitor display. I would like to seek advise if there is anything I can change to make it better performance-vise (eg monitor or RAM etc) or reduce price by replacing a part to avoid overkill. I plan to start purchasing from 4th Jan 2015 in Bangalore Any guidance with regards to shops for best deals will be helpful. Thanks and Appreciate all your assistance.

Thanks bssunil. i am worried about if I miss any consumer class features. Not really worried about integrated graphics... will Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.40 GHz Processor at 18k be better choice? Will this require liquid cooling?

You want it to be a download rig as well as a high end gaming rig. Will require a very good cooling system in my view. Also, if you're going to spend 100k on a gaming rig, try to include a kick-ass mouse and keyboard. I would recommend Roccat Tyon.

Thanks nimithbhardwaj, you are right. I thought about better gaming mouse and keyboard and will keep the roccat tyon in mind. First, I just want to get my basic framework right you know , the things which cant be upgraded like the processor or the Mobo, was considering a corsair h100i but after reading reviews, it does not look like it will fit into a 300r . so i guess if I have to have the h100i then my next best option is the corsair 450d case. yeah . I may go for a SLI 2 years down if future games demand it but yeah want the right Case,MB and Processor along with the PSU.

Yeah mate, get the 'permanent' things first. I just mentioned a good gaming mouse and keyboard because over the years I've seen many people put 100k + into building their gaming rigs and in the end they buy the lower end gaming combos worth 2-3k. :)
