well u can try ebay.in or better buy it from dealextreme.com
for use in village u will need a flashlight that has more flood then throw.since most good LED flashlights uses Li-on batteries in villages finding a replacement battery will be a issue,also if u don't charge them properly those cheap batteries can explode.
you can by flashlights that use AA batteries,but most only have a small tightly focused beam(light output),u can also buy those spotlight which have a halogen lamp and a lead acid battery,they will give u good throw and flood,disadvantage is short runtime and bulky.

i had a flaslight bought from dealextreme its a Aurora SSC-P7 based flashlight costed about 2.7k its just bit brighter then my 6D maglite led.
the advantages of these led flaslight are long runtimes.
however it doesn't come close to a spotlight in terms of light output.
many makes sold in India are chineese carbon copies of US & German models, look for models from MAGLITE (USA),the same is available at many shops.It costs as same as britelite too ,but original top quality product.Also some also makes Xenon bulbs too.which has more powerful than halogen quartz bulbs !!.Many of these are not officially sold in India, but available at all grey markets !!.

try to avoid rechargeable ones because in remote areas the electricity supply is not stable as in phase wise which results in battery damage.
there are good models on EBAY you have to make choice what you want.
