PC Peripherals Powring On issue

Hello guys.
Since i have installed my new WD 1TB Cavair Black SATA3 i have been facing a booting issue.
The problem is this-
When i swicth on my PC,everything starts running and before the Display comes on,its switches off...this happens to 2-5 times and then everything starts running absolutely fine.

The problem started since i installed the new HDD
i have my doubts if my Cooler Master PCAR-600 PSU is the culprit here,yes im aware of its problems.
my prior set up was with 3 HDD...SATA 160GB,SATA 120GB and a PATA 80GB now i replaced the 120 and the 80GB with my 1 tb.Could it be that my PSU isnt providing enough power?

It does looks like a case of bad PSU. If you can get your hands on a second PSU that'd be great.

Also I think it might be a simple case of an electric short. If the PSU suggestion doesn't work out try removing all your components,put them up on a cardboard and test it after that.

Edit:-

I remember that on one of my installs I encountered a similar problem and it was the power on button,it used to get stuck at on position and caused the PC to turn off after a few seconds.

In case the issue returns, check for grounding, also when the power is on, see if the hdd gets heated up to much or vibrates a lot.
