Two PRC MSS trained hackers are being charged with, among other things, stealing vaccine data. This makes a lot of those gestures of helping other countries ring hollow when they're using other people's work to do so.

One more reason to get rid of patents. if they become patent free no one will buy chinese vaccines. besides, entire world including chinese people need vaccine.

if china uses vaccine diplomacy. it would be western world’s fault for not making the patents available.
