Budget 41-50k Price and quality check for i5 14400f build

Hi everyone, a friend of friend is gonna be building his new gaming system , and he wants my help.
His budget was 45k without GPU. And he needs an i5 14400f build. So here are the parts with prices that I could find for his budget with seller links,
CPU -i5 14400f - 15439/- Link
Mobo- Asus B760M AYW Wifi- 11500/- Link
Ram- Gskill Ripjaw 16gb 6000Mhz- 8920/- Link
CPU Cooler - DP AK400 cooler - 2300/- Link
PSU- Gigabyte UD 750w Gold - 6477/- Link
Cabinet- AntEsports 205 ARGB - 3584/- Link
Total - 48217/-
He will be using old NVME & HDDs. And a used RTX 3080
Please see if the parts are good or should I change something also let me know if I can get them at better prices.
Thanks In Advance

Get Ryzen 7600
Asrock b650m mobo
Gskill flare x cl30 6000
Msi 750gl psu
He is dead set on intel, I told him intel is not a good choice atm, thats why my own system is AMD based.
But he said he wants intel only.

Get R5 7600 based rig, no point buying Intel for gaming. Have added a better PSU & RAM (lower latency)
PSU has good reviews, And how much difference will latency made for normal gaming , not competitive ?

2-5% at max, but not like its way too expensive.

If your friend is dead set on Intel, don't waste your time trying to help him. Their money, their choice. Also F Intel CPUs lack an iGPU whereas R5 7600 has an iGPU.

it's gonna cost 6k more, and he doesn't need a full atx motherboard.

He is getting a good deal on i5 14600kf for 20500, is it worth pushing the budget, I checked benchmarks and it shows 40-50% performance boost.

i7 12700K will be a safer bet, I would avoid 13th & 14th gen.
Doesn't make sense for gaming. R5 7600 performs better in gaming & AM5 will get at least 1 more gen beyond Ryzen 9000. In 3-4 years can upgrade CPU to maybe 10800X3D & upgrade GPU if needed. Intel's platform is dead.

I read about that too today, now I'm considering if helping him with intel build today is gonna come back to bite me tomorrow.
Just make it clear to him that you won't troubleshoot any of his issues if he still opts for Intel given the amount of evidence regarding issues. My father wanted to buy iPhone a few years back, I told this statement to him :P

Also extra producitivity performance of Intel i5 14600KF is useless as gaming performance is what will matter. Heck my old i5 12400 is more powerful than PS5 pro's CPU, even with lower CPU core count.

If he's set on Intel, build him i5 12400 rig maybe & save money. I recently upgraded GPU to 7900GRE in my i5 12400 rig, there's a good amount of CPU bottleneck in CPU heavy games like CoD BO6 but mostly it is fine for sub 100fps gaming, getting close to 7800X3D + 7900GRE performance in games like Wukong. Acc. to CoD benchmark, my CPU can just push 130fps but GPU can push close to 180fps (I have a 170Hz monitor). 3080 is relatively weaker than 7900GRE, so it should be fine with i5 12400. Only a handful of games at 1440p might perform worse on i5 12400 + 3080 vs say R5 7600 + 3080 rig at 1440p.

I told him , I will only help him building the system not with troubleshooting it if something happens after few months. I have work and my own stuff to do So I Can't waste 2-3 days working on something that I'm not getting paid for. You can chose AMD or Intel, i have no problem in building either one for you.

I made everything clear and he is going with 14600kf, Saying intel is offering 5 years of warranty so that's some assurance.
And I just agreed and he has agreed not to bother me if something happens a few months down the line.

All of this is from Computech, I have multiple purchases from myself and friends, would recommend

Secondly, I would suggest changing the power supply selected to atleast Msi MAG 750GL

3 years of warranty on CPUs, not 5. Also bump up air cooler to Cooler Master 620S instead of AG400. The i5 14600K can potentially draw upto 180W. Sadly no UV on B series mobo, else could have undervolted the CPU to reduce the risk of issues which are mainly caused due to overvoltage.

Since we are going for 14600kf now, Which mobo should we get, there won't be any overclocking just plain use of gaming and little editing. Budget is around 12-14k I guess.
