Storage Solutions Price of 1.5TB hdd?

WHats the present price?Wd to be more specific as i dont want to go to service centre and waste my time

ANd are their any problems like firmware and all going with it?
 
the prices were around 6.4k a few weeks back but they were out of stock at lammy, the seagate 7200.11 series were available for a similar price iirc,
 
i was going through some of the stores @ lamington road yesterday aand dcided to watch out for the prices of products for fellow TE'ians....
the prices of 1.5 tb HDD were 6.35k (average-4 stores)

Seagates are no down cheaper but wd is hard to find...after coupon i m getting from ebay for 6.7k thats why confirming else no point buying from there

I already have couple of hdd and cabinet is less spacious....

This will be the 3rd in my cabinet before i do cabinet update

I guess ill make a round down lammy

Ebay wont make sense than
 
"1.5tb hdd" is not the apt title for a thread. You being an old member should have known better. Please use descriptive titles while creating threads.

the lat I heard that the 2TB WD drivescost over 12k, you can get 3TB in that cost, or has the price come down to 10k or so?

Btw 2tb cost almost as 1tb (3 HDD together)
 
Got a 1.5tb WD Green from Prime today, 6.3k ... so far seems good, getting 85-90mb, transferring 700mb files using teracopy.

Edit : it's 6.2k + 2% extra for CC payment

For cash ppl it will be 6.2k...nice price.......will try to save 200 buks more by roaming ard and checking at small shops who keep less margin
 
^^ thats true. Many small shops in Lamington sell at less than Prime. Some eg are Othree and sun signs systems.

First get the price from Prime and tell them 50 or 100 less...
 
@Magnet :- If you manage to buy it from some store for 6k.. Let me know the name, as even I am planning a visit to lamington in a week..
