Guys i want to know the price of Audigy 2 Plain in mumbai or in India .

One of my frs is selling it , hez bought it from US so no warranty , what do u think is a worth price for it third hand ( yes !) , used for 9 months by 2 diff users , he is ready to sell for 2.5k . Is it worth it ? let me know . thanks in advance .
 
Audigy 2 plain or LS or Value is not available at all. If its a value card then i guess 2.5k would be a good price since the 24bit live costs around 2k or so.

so then whatz the price of audigy 2 ZS ( new) in India ?

Neither will be any use in games. In fact, they're not that good for movies either, as they dont have wdm drivers.
 
so guys i have this option , either

Buy brand new SB Live 24 bit ! 7.1 channel with warranty ( 1 year ) - 1800/-

OR

Buy Audigy 2 Value used -- 2.5k --- 9 month old -- no warranty ( purchased from US )
Whatz your take on it ?

If games is the concern, then a simple A2 ZS will do the trick... whats the use of paying 200$ extra for a stupid breakout box. Its assumed that with a high end card like that, ppl will be doin recording. For movies, a chaintech AV710 will do the job equally well I guess if all that is required is SPDIF passthrough ;)
