Thuban Processors with 6 cores from Amd are launching Next month the lowest priced at 200$ 2.8 ghz, Do you think it will beat i7 940. also will they come in India overpriced ?

Can it defeat i7 940 will be known only after it's release.But $ 200 means 9k (45 inr =1$) ..I bet that will be more than 10.5 K when it will launch first @ India.

Now the interesting portion.For my new rig I thought any of these SMPS

1.Corsair VX450W (5 years warranty)

2.Tagan Stone rock 500W (TG 500-U37) [1 year warranty]

3.FSP Bluestorm Pro 500 W [2 years warranty]

and for my old rig [plz look at my signature] I was thinking of Gigabyte PFC 460W .Surprisingly any one of the 5 I visited had any brand SMPS'es..another shocker for me, not even Supreme.Only Velocity having stock of SMPS but they are having only Cooler Master 600 W priced @ 3500.(2 years warranty) which I don't like personally.Why so/\ anybody can tell?

*One more thing,the highest price quotes of several parts came from Supreme.Although I missed Berlia,think they will be more or less same* .
 
you can purchase corsair vx 450 from buygamingstuff in dealers section. I just took mine from him. Just 3600 rs shipped via blue dart air shipping reached to me in less than 48 hour.

Hi all.I was not available for 4 days cause was amazed by d performance of my new rig.New,I bought a pc from Kolkata @ 30th..and giving the prices here for reference.

For the market research,I have visited 5 shops earlier,and on 30th I gave a try to Berlia Computers .And Ultimately another shocker.I thought this one have to be costlier shop.

I was looking for Corsair vx 450 W all along and 400 W ,but no Corsair was available anywhere @ Chandni.But Tagan extended their Warranty to 3 years and Cooler Master is also having 3 years.I think this will be a good time scale,so took them. :clap:

If such rig is playing Crysis and Crysis WareHead @ 1440*900 High Settings and 4x Anti-Aliasing..I wonder how cards like 5770/5830/5850/5870/5970 and Fermi do..

There is an extra vat of 4% on the above prices but still I think the deal I got was pretty good.

corsair psu is slightly on the higer side, rest all seems good :)

also, how is CM Elite 310? I was thinking of getting one...

Is it with transparent Side pannel?
