Price updates from Lamington Road (Mumbai)

accompanied a friend yesterday to prime abgb, this is what we bought--

HAF 922 -- 6,600

Corsair tx650 -- 6,500

msi x58 pro + i7 930 -- 25,000

wd 1tb green -- 3,650

corsair ddr3 4gb kit -- 6,700

lg oem dvd drive -- 1,100

total 49,550 - 750 = 48,800
 
Tell me current price for,

(1) Asus Rampage II Extreme Intel X58 LGA 1366 Motherboard,

(2) ASUS P6X58D-Premium Intel X58 LGA 1366 Motherboard.
 
Went today:

HDD: 1TB WD ranges from 3450 to 3750 everywhere.
RAM: 2GB DDR3 is also from 2.4 to 2.7 depending on where you buying it.
i3+mobo: 9.5-10.3k

Are you sure that's the right price you got it for? I bought my rig from Lamington Rd just 3 days before that and my i5-750 + DH55TC cost me 14.9k :S

TheITwares was shut when I went on Monday :(

Their prices are a bit high though.

I got the 2GB DDR3 for just 2.4k :D

They also have the HD 5670 for Rs.6050.

Many store din't have Gigabyte Superb. They had other Good PSU's though

ya shop was closed on monday..so i went again on tuesday to get quotation...

which companys DDR3 u picked up?? from where ?? was it 1333 MHz???

and which PSU's u saw???

also was that 5670 was of sapphires?? 512 MB ???

sorry for too many questions....:p

I guess he must have quoted for the Gigabyte 785G DDR3 model with USB 3 :p

There are four similar models
Gigabyte 78GM US2H ~ 4.2k (DDRII model+ 780G)
Gigabyte 785GM US2H ~ 4.3-4.5k (DDRII model)
Gigabyte 785GMT US2H ~ 5.5k (DDRIII model)
Gigabyte 785GMT USB3 ~ 5.8k (DDRIII model+USB3.0)
The Gigabyte 785GMT US2H will definitely cost you 5k+. So pls confirm the quotes

Btw try to get this model.
Asus M4A87TD/USB3 ~ 5.6k (SATAIII(6Gbps), USB 3.0, core unlocker)
Its chennai price. It lacks IGP but as you are getting a GPU it doesnt matter.

@ DarkAngel - Yes i dnt think i can give a more than 1k difference price in mobo and proc yaar i am sure there is some confusion between wat i have given and wat you have written here.

Yes most probably it should be like this,
Athlon II X4 630 + Gigabyte 785GMT US2H = 10500 (from u)
Athlon II X4 630 + Gigabyte 785GM US2H(DDRII based) = 9150 (from prime)

Definitely that mobo costs 5.3-5.5k in most online sites and what other members have quoted in price update threads

I picked up Kingston or Corsair. Don't remember :huh:

I'l find the box and tell you. And yes it's 1333 MHz for sure. Checked it in the BIOS while setting up the machine.

I saw SEGA PSU which he said is better than Gigabyte. They don't trust Gigabyte at those stores for some reason. Corsair was there but it's expensive and you don't need that high a PSU for your 5670.

I saw XFX and Sapphire I think.

u know wat ...m revising my config with Phenom II X4 945 & Gfx Card with HD5770 ...stretched my budget a little....

Previously it was Athlon II 630 n HD 5670 with Gigabyte superb 460 W ....

I wanna kno now......will same PSU will work fine for Phenom II X4 945 + Gigabyte 785Gmt US2H + HD5770 ??

or i need to change my psu too ??:(

I got the HD 5770. A 400W works with the 5770. That's what people here told me and that's what I bought and its working perfectly fine.

I don't know much about the Phenom proccy though cause I bought an i3
