Price updates from Lamington Road (Mumbai)

^ I know, prices have increased it seems. Prime made 2 - 3 calls whilst I was there, that was the best price.

How many of you know that Prime is selling Sony battery chargers ?
 
^ They send the flyers by mail often- been some months now they stock batteries and chargers from Sony. :)

Heard that Meenal madam has left Prime.

Prices need to be verified now- good for some but may not be same for all. :)

Was in lamington yesterday and bought a 320gb blue for 1950/-. Though it turned out to be AAJS, not AAKS as i had hoped for but im ok with it.

It's warranty calms me.

In Lamington road Mumbai, unlike at vashi or Sp Road bangalore, most of the shops quote retail prices that includes VAT and all other taxes. This is my personal experience.

Yes, prime too.
The price they quote is the final price you need to pay and they reverse account it in the bill. Like when i bought a MB for 3200/-, it'll appeared in the bill like this...

Hmmm. I wanted to purchase Western digital 1tb external Home edition (wanted esata) but it was not available any where in Lamington road, ebay (got refund after placing order) or with any of our TE dealers. Seagate esata was very costly.
Ultimately settled for
1tb Sata hdd ( WD green @ 3950/-, Seagate same rate)
Sunbeamtech Airbox eSATA enclosure (@ Rs.1750/-)
from Prime abgb Plus Rs. 100 for delivery. Paid COD.

also
Vantec HDD dock from KMD @ 1770 + shipping @ 80 and
Seagate 1 tb HDD from Vashi @ 3950/-.
Sustained transfer rates with eSATA using Airbox and WD green combo was around 75 MB/s and using Vantec Seagate combo it was 80 MB/sec.

^^ Welcome mpic. Sapphire 4650 comes for 3.2k. BTW, purchase 4670 instead of 4650, just my personal advise. 4670 comes for 4.5 k.
