Well friends i am done with my epson cx5500 , it's head if coagulated , and i have no idea how to clean it , manually software not working properly . emptied all my cartridge in cleaning the head , :@
i hate epson , they suck they say their cartridge prints more than 400pages, then they are liar , it does not even print 40 , cartridges are not refillable even more worse ,

Now guide me , i want to buy a new printer ,

hp
canon

but problem is that new printers do not accept refilled cartridge , how to deal with this problem ??

i will be printing about 100-200page , and i want low printing over head , say about 1.5rupees max .
not willing to spend anything more than 3500 ,
which one to buy

Most shops still have some older models from Canon and Hp which are refillable. I can confirm that the i1200 from Canon was refillable. Try with your local dealer.

If your print volume is going to be high, then you should consider a laser printer.

May seem sarcastic but you should buy an Espon printer. See the link to understand why am I saying so. My print cost is Appx. 40 paise including paper and that too full colour prints including photographs occassionally

eBay India: REFILL CARTRIDGE EPSON 73N / 91N TX111, T11 + 500ml ink (item 190424154416 end time 26-Sep-2010 00:52:49 IST)

Will it cause any problems if i use a compatible black 73n cartridge with original color cartridges on my tx111, my black cartridge is almost empty but colors are still almost full.

It should not be a problem. However its better to keep the genuine cartrdiges for the time when you need to send your printer for servicing as they will ask for genuine cartrdiges and if you not have , then you will need to buy. Make sure to seal it abnd keep in a air tight box.

i faced the same dilemma and eventually decided its better not to store carts since they would only dry up.. and hence now im using my orignal epson color carts and the black cart from the above combo.. no problems yet but then iv not had the need to refill the cart yet

You can seal then with a common cellotape on the ink out hole as well as the air vent hole and keep them in air tight plasrtic box which may be available in the kitchen. As far the issue of drying goes, the purpose of keeping them is not to use them in future, but to use them when you send your printer for service. Even if the ink dries a bit after long storage time, the chip will still show full and then its the headache of the service centre.
