I need to buy a printer
no brand preference as long as it prints wonderfully

even ready to invest a little higher for laser .
I need a color printer , also would be using a Ciss or refillable cartridges

Ps- i have short listed Brother J125 - for 6500 Rs
+ Ciss - 1800 Rs
Total - 8300 RS

I am already owning a Epson TX111 with Ciss9(used only 9.5 months , still under warranty ) , i am currently encountering problems with

Need a Good Printer ,btw thanks for the Cheaper link , i just forgot about flipkart

Also AIO is not a Necessary , since i can always buy a seperate scanner or use the one from my Useless TX111

Epson Stylus TX550W is a good choice. It is a 4 color printer with good print speeds, but for photo printing it can't match a 6 color printer.
Contact Mr.Varun LIPAP SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED , he will guide you through.
The ebay seller "ink-shop-india" is the one from whom i also got CISS. He does have CISS for almost all Epson printers and the chips are also of latest version.

6-color Epson printers use dye Inks and 4-color Epson printers use pigment inks. Pigment inks are non-fading and water resistant. Dye inks will fade out over time and have poor water resistance. Pigment inks are 50-90% costlier than dye inks. Most probably all refill ink that you get from ebay & others will be a dye ink. Easy way to check the type of ink you are using is, if the ink is transparent then it is a dye ink. Pigment inks are Opaque because they are in a dispersed state. I am using Epson printers (R230, Tx101, T13 & Artisan 725) with CISS & refillable cartridges, over the years i have tried various inks and all were of same inferior dye inks. Only recently, i came across OCP, who provide both dye and pigment inks. You can find the right ink for your printer from their website OCP INKS ... inks of finest quality . After years of search, i find OCP inks to be the best beside Epson's. The 100gms black & color dye ink will cost Rs.170, 100gms black pigment ink Rs.250 and 100gms color pigment ink Rs.300/-. Epson Stylus TX550W uses 73N cartridges and the inks you need from OCP are, BKP 115, CP 115, MP 102 and YP 102. The minimum pack starts from 100gms.

Epson Artisan 725 (US) is nothing but Epson Stylus Photo TX720WD in India. In india you will get the Epson Stylus Photo TX720WD for around 13K, but i got the Artisan 725 from amazon via SYW for 9.2K + Rs.1K for 220v to 110v 250watts Voltage Convertor). Epson Artisan 725 / Stylus Photo TX720WD uses 81N/82N cartridges and the inks you need from OCP are, BK 140, C 140, Y 140, M 140, CL 141 and ML 141.

well most probabaly , i would be going for a TX550W , since i already have used 73n refillable catridges from my tx111 , which brings the the Ciss cost to 0 and i am getting it at rs 7850 (+1100 for OCP ink ) , also the printer matching features with it is epson 620f which is available at rs 6500 + 600rs for catridges (refillable ) which brings the total cost to 7100 and thus i feel Tx550w is better value for money with the wireless printing since I don't require FAX .

Also should i consider the Brother J125 ?

Ps. i got a quote for artisan 725 @ 4500 for the printer and rs 6500 for shipping .
 
For those Who are Wondering Here is a Comparison of Different Printers , all with refillable cartridges and OCP ink , The Costs Are Approx (~500 ) including ink and refillable cartridges price

1. Brother j125(AIO ) - Total cost about 6500 0 good Printer if You need only the Basic Features . Decent Print Speeds

2.T13(single Function ) - cheapest available - total cost under 3k , ok quality prints .

3. Artisan 725 - (AIO - 6 color ink ) printer with the best specifications , auto duplex and Network Printing with total Cost about 12.5k , this is the indian Equivalent to Epson TX720WD .

Ps - I am yet to buy one of these and will post Pictures and the entire Cost Breakup after around 12-16th OCTOBER , since i will be busy With Some work .
