Well as we know our community growing day by day.....why dont we keep a private section where we oldies(decided by mods or by members past records) allowed ..some sort of a private lounge...that way we can remain in touch more properly.....since i m not the one who remain in contacts via mobile and all and prefer reading and typing

Doesnt make sense. Why? Just post in general talk if u want :)

-1. we don't want to be elitist here, like certain *other* forums. those of us who wish to stay in touch, there is always our GT threads, and other IM's

Use the general section, or IM :P

U ppl might think that way but i recently left posting on a forum just becoz too many new members now post their or cant keep updated about myself if i log their after 2-3 days....just dont wanted that to happen here.....

What? You want an exclusive section because you can't keep up with the increased traffic?

thats a weird suggestion! .still ,what he meant seems like in auto forums ,where the members are so close ,and often got small and BIG G2G.posts their pics in forum etc.the thing is - "serious" forumites get a place. :D

while we ,ordinary member(s) got no problemo with it ;)

there are no extraordinary and ordinary members. There are mods, and there are members. beyond that , i don't think there needs to be a distinction :)

Err you guys took his request in the wrong sense..he meant it for personal purpose..like say ch@os's geting transferred and likes..While it makes sense, since sometime private information is handed out in betweeen jokes between members etc..So some might not feel secure to divulge them so openly..

But yeah to some it may seem like 'elitism" and other things..and would bring a bad name for sure..

But on that note, till a few days ago i didnt know that mods had a separate forum for themselves..:@

What do you guys discuss:devil:

Dont even talk about it. We've been through this a thousand times. Somehow our staff doesn't like the idea one bit of rewarding senior and long time members.

Screw the private section, we can't even get freaking custom titles!

^ ^ yes indeed and its under discussion currently so you never know about the custom titles :P

as for the private section, dont think thats going to be happening

as for Mods having private sections, thats standard practice everywhere, not everything can be discussed in open or via IMs

and these home made cooking recipes are incredibly hard to discuss in IMs and hence the section :bleh:
