Probing about few Engg. colleges

Hi everybody, after a long leave of nearly 1 year I am back. I am taking admission in Engg. 1st year. Few colleges on the hitlist are:

1. Goa Engg. College, Ponda, Goa (Goa Engineering College)
2. Thakur College of Engg. and technology ( Thakur College of Engineering & Technology )
3. Pravara rural college of engg. ( http://www.pravaraengg.org/ )
4. University College of Engg, Patiala
5. Jaypee Institute of Information Technology ( http://www.jiit.ac.in/ )
6. Amity School of engg. and Technology( AMITY SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY )
7. Guru Nanak Dev Engineering college, Ludhiana

Got through IIT barrier but at 5696 AIR I couldn't get a decent stream or even BTECH in IIT or IT BHU or ISM except for BSc and MSc combined.

Why dont you go to one of those colleges ?? Any NIT i.e

And welcome back !!! Your last thread IIRC was something to do with RAM.... you got some amazing RAM in India right ??

Well I said IIT JEE. This year they gave ranks till 6000

as for AIEEE, my rank being 18,744 ; NO NIT.

So decided to stay a little close to home by looking at these govt./private colleges

Any opinions about above colleges please
