CPU/Mobo problem with athlon xp 2100+

my amd athlon xp 2100+ proccy is showin up as 2000+ 1.67ghz proccy

Change the FSB settings from the mobo. I think you will need it to be at 166 mhz...

I think in some mobos it is set as 133mhz by default...

i don't think it's got anything to do with the fsb.
the 2100 is 13*133=1729
the 2200 is 13.5*133=1795

if you've changed the multiplier in the bios, that would explain it. Otherwise, it would seem that you've got a 2000+ and not a 2100+ in your system at the moment.
