Storage Solutions Problem with DVD Burner after Firmware Upgrade

I've a Lite-On 1673S DL DVD-RW. I upgraded the firmware of the drive abt. 10 days back from DR16JS02 to DR16JS0B. The drive has stopped burning DVD-R media after that. It gives error that it could not complete Disc-At-Once and that the Lead-Out burning process has failed i.e. the burn fails at the very end. What do I do ? I tried burning a Moser Baer DVD+RW and it burned fine. But 3 DVD-R media that I tried to burn have failed. Need help !!!!!

flash it back to the original firmware...hope u've backed it up b4 flashing....

Not possible. The flash utility does not allow flashing from newer firmware to the older one. Tried that.

Even then its just an exe which flashes the firmware.Its not flash from DOS. So when u run the exe, it detects the firmware of the drive and if the firmware is older than it then it flashes. If not it just gives an error message that the flash could not be done.
