Problem with gamepad

I hav bought a HCL game mate gamepad .but when I connected the device with USB port it is giving a mssg like
USB device not recognised
One of the USB device attached to the computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it.Try to reconnect it or replace it.

When i install the driver the driveris perfectly installed but still it does not recognise the device.What sud I do :huh: ? please help!!
