Problem with installing Phone Drivers on Os.

Ive been using my n79 for a long time without issues.. Now when im trying to copy stuff from my pc to the phone for some reason the operating system is unable to load drivers for the phone.. It is asking for my cd which i am inserting but it still says driver installation failed.. Can anyone help me...I am using Vista Ultimate 32 bit..

 
I guess a reinstall of the Nokia PC suite should work, assuming that you have problems in file transfer through USB cable. Uninstall any related applications, and download the latest version of PC suite from nokia site and try it again.

If there is a problem of transferring files via bluetooth, get the bluetooth drivers again from the nokia site and install them directly, rather than from the CD.

Yes it happens when i choose mass storage on my phone after plugging it in using an USB thats why i attached the screen shot.. Ill re install with the latest downloaded OVI and get back here..

I did that i still get the same error its asking me to install the drivers and put the cd when i do it doesnt find them in there, wierd..I choose the nokia folder it is not finding them there also...
 
Dude :)

1) Upgrade to Windows 7.

2) Get latest PC Suite.

3) Upgrade to latest firmware of the phone.

Hi mate, im on vista i dont want to upgrade on a beta.. I do have the latest PC suite i downloaded it yesterday and my phones software is the latest version for the love of me i can not understand why im getting that error...Any help is appreciated
 
considering evreything OK on software side ... plz check with another data cable and another USB port. Don't use any USB hub in between.
 
Hi its been a few days but i have now realised that a couple of Pen Drives dont work on my USB i use the same USB to put my pen drive it works,Whenever My OS has to install drivers for a USB device the drivers installation fails and the USB device isnot detected please help me here....
