Requesting humbly to everyone in this thread not to wander from the topic. Lets all respect each other :) .We cant expect Mods to be up 24x7x365. Cant blame them for all of it,somewhere we are also to be blamed as buyers. But i am +ve about it that a solution will soon be reached. For now,let us all put in our resources and efforts to get hold of scums like these. :blackalien:

Hi there..
He bought Nexus 5 from me on 14th July. He told he is gonna pay 20K out of which 15K will be paid by cash and remaining by cheque. I deposited the cheque and it bounced. I tried calling him and his phone was switched off. As a security he gave me his passport copy. I visited the address mentioned in the passport and found that he has shifted to Utrahalli 2 year ago. Then I enquired about him to his ex neighbours and found out that he had some shop in Banshankari 3rd stage, named Net Tarang. There I found his father's number which is 09880001601. I called his father and he told that I will get my money back. Mr fraud returned my 2500 but I am still waiting for my 2500. Now neither him nor his father give response to my calls and messages. I have bounced cheque with me though. But just for 2500 I was hesitating to go to police station as even Police wont take serious action against them..
I request you all to contact his father.

^ A bounced cheque is a serious crime. This guy isn't going to learn, and looks like his father is part of the scam, so I'd urge you to take it up.
 
not to forget, there is some timeframe, from the date of bounced cheque, of taking legal action.. (its within a month, not sure though)
 
^^ Yes off-course you got your money back. Dishonored cheque is an offence. It seems the person is monitoring this thread and by fear of legal action he returned your money.
Now we hope the OP also gets his money back.

So I have an upcoming trip to bangalore in December and I have finally decided to pay this a-hole a visit and get the money from him. I also contact @abhi_jollyguy and he confirmed he still did not get his money back so I am going to try and get his money back too. Any help from any ofthe people involved will be highly appreciated.

Probably both son and father are involved in this.

I am damn sure that father and son both are scammer. I doubt their whole family is a scammer, father and son are doing here and rest of the family are doing somewhere else.
