Hi Guyz. i own a MSI Gtx 260. I have a problem with this card. Whenever i play a graphically intense games like mass effect the game freezes. After a lotta search i underclocked my Card and from then on its fine. But i done want to underclock my card. Is there any other option to get rid of this. ? Also my card's Core temperature is 60 degrees idle. And its pretty hot here in chennai. Is tht fine? Thanks !

Its definitely the overheating issue. After under clocking the card, less heat is generated hence you face no issues further. You can try reinstalling heat sink of the card. I would have recommended an after market cooler for it but there is no point investing so much for an old generation card. What you can do right now is check your fan speed, if it is at 40-50%, change the speed to 70-80%. It will help reducing the temperatures by a fair amount.
