Problem with N73 ME

Its started just 2 days when i really look into this is a serious problem with my 9months old N73 Music edition. Whenever i trying to operate any camera on screen function its just go back to standby screen very quickly and revert back to camera mode within a sec with all settigns to defaults. its so irritating. at 1st i think it might be a problem with my slider mechanism but its not that coz whenever as i started to take photos its never behaves like that but then again if i wanna change some Scene Mode, White Balance or Light Sensitivity it gonna behave like someone else controling my ph... plz help urgent

Note: this abnormal behavior never happend in video mode
everything else in the ph are just more than fine
my ph version: i update it 2 months back

Hmm.. accurate prob with my N73m.. but it happens only some times..

not regularly...

I dunno why is this happening...
 
go to the nokia software update site & check for the latest firmware version available !

a firmware upgrade may resolve the issue..

else you gotta get used to it !

yeah it happens sometimes once a day or sometimes per operation 3 or 4 times when i wanna try to change on screen settings....

i think this is a bug with this firmware update V 4.0727.2.2.1 coz previous to this i never felt such a problem.

anyone know if there is any new firmware version? i run myself NSU but it says my existing ph firmware is the latest till today

else i think thetoxicmind wud be right .. all of us having the same problem gotta get used to it... seems no solution at all

i'm sure i saw some new version in the nokia discussions page for the N73..

one more thing,the latest software updater v1.4.14 doesn't work properly..it doesn't recognize half the phones..like mine for instance..and i cant revert back to my old stable firmware either !

thanks thetoxicmind... i just update my N73 by NSU its now V 4.0736.3.2.1 and the camera problem seems gonaway... also i notice the photo quality slightly better in macro mode and landscape mode. though it has a problem of saving equaliser settings back to default for opening Music Player for the 1st time after update but after two or three attempts its fine now.. also menu operation and html browser is very fast than earlier... everything else seems pretty fine as before...

again thx a lot....

i think u shud update ur firmware and after that u decide urself whether u ditch ur own N73ME or not... 5610 has S40 3rd edition User Interface for which is lit bit uder rated than S60 3rd edition phone GUI so its better to keep N73 if u wanna enjoy lots of 3rd party softwares and games and full internet html browsing experience... cheers!!!!
