problem with power dvd7

hi friends

i was using powerdvd7 for all my stuff specialy for listening mp3, it plays mp3 multichannel on my 5.1 system, but when tried to play xvid format movie it hanged.
i already installed all codecs required, basically installed k-lite codec pack but still its not responding.

now can any one tell me is there any conflict between these two, and what should i do to solve the problem?

help me out, don't want to dump powerdvd.

What sound card do u have ? Is it onboard ? Tried updating drivers for tht ?

i have onboard nvidia geforce integrated mx-2

i have problem with both sound and video only when i use xvid file, otherwise it works fine.

me 2 seem to have the same problems

there seems to be quite a lot of issues revolving round the version 7

Why don't you use media player classic ? Its the best for avi/xvid plus it uses far less resources than Power DVD7.

lol VLC is currently the GOD player its just i have been using Power DVD for a Long time thts y i dont like to separate from it

the amazing things i found in powerdvd7 deluxe are great sound effect options which works with all type of videos and music files and play them multichannel even if its not DD5.1, thats why i love powerdvd.

suggest anything else plzzz:huh:

y dont u stick with Power DVD 6 version or best try VLC player
